Brian Byars was born in 1973. He graduated from Bob
Jones University in 1997 with a B.A. in Creative Writing, and now
works as a graphic designer at WYFF.
Brian began painting miniatures and writing stories in high school where
he became friends with Doug and Josh. Brian married Rachel's older
sister in 1997.

Rachel Claytor is an avid reader and an amateur writer.
She is currently in high-school and plans to attend college. Rachel met
Brian when he married her sister Alicia.
